Rob, Silvia, Sara, Massimiliano, Talisa and MelissaOttawa, CaTiki Hut Holiday. My wife and I are from Canada and her sisters family was from Italy. We rented the Tiki Hut in August of 2009.Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the homeowners sister and given a detailed tour of the property and its amenities. This home is nicely laid out especially if bungalows are your preference. Everything mentioned in the advertisement was available and there were no surprises since we've had experiences in the past when something is advertised and you get something completely different. Since were outdoors people the pool was an absolute delight, the connected hot tub in the pool was a huge bonus. The open kitchen was great to prepare 5 and 6 course meals (Italian style dinners) and the living room with the monster size television was great although it was barely used. All the bedrooms were a nice size and my wife loved all the room in the master bathroom. The outdoor area with the BBQ and large patio dining table made dining outside easy. The neighborhood is very quiet and you have a sense that you are in a very safe and secure area since most of the homes in the area are beautiful and bring with it the security from the local police force that's very comforting. The town has lots to do and Miami and Fort Lauderdale are a quick drive down the highway. During our stay there were a few minor problems like the air conditioning not working for a day and there was no internet service when we arrived which was promised but Mike the owner got on the problem right away and corrected the problems quickly and for our troubles arranged a night out at one of Boca Raton's finest restaurants for the inconvenience we had, a very nice gesture.Overall we were all very impressed with the home and would rent it again and obviously recommend this home to any family. We rented the house together with some friends who had flown in from Europe to spend the winter holidays in FL and we all stayed at the Tiki House for 7 days. Everything was just perfect. Dealing with Mike (owner) and his sister Michelle was easy and a breeze. Everything was as advertised, in fact the photos don't do the house justice. The house was extremely clean and fully equipped with everything one might need. The layout is ideally suited for larger groups, with one bedroom + its own bathroom in the wing to the left and the other bedrooms in the wing to the right. The master bedroom is huge and so is the master bathroom. Each bedroom had its own flat screen TV which was also nice. The living room is great with the humongous large screen TV and the surround sound works perfectly. High speed internet (wireless) also available and full signal everywhere in the house. The house even has a nice pool table which we didn't use. The kitchen is fully equipped. The pool is perfect for laps and the Tiki tent terrific. Rain or shine you can hang out underneath it and enjoy yourself. The house is located in a very nice and quiet area yet very close to restaurants and shopping. Just about anything one might want less than a mile away. The house is also very close to main attraction areas. A short drive from the airport (about 40 mins) you're within a short drive from Miami or Palm Beach. Excellent restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale (a short drive out) as well as beaches and entertainment. If / when we go back to FL to rent the Tiki house will definitely be at the top of our lists. pp_petrina@petrinagroup.com |

Sam DWest Chester, PAYour sister is a very nice lady. Her three daughters are nice too. Your dad told me that he always beats you in golf and that you don't pay up on your bets with him. While there we celebrated my seventy third birthday and gave our son a really nice send off for his two years in the United Emerits. Whoever selected the paint colors for the interior did a spectacular job! I loved the faux finishes in the rooms! The best part for us, was being outdoors! What tropical surroundings! Karie BurtNew York, NY"So the pictures on the web site look great, but we've all seen pictures of 10ft pools that look Olympic Size and master bedrooms that look like closets in real life, so I tried to keep my expectations in check but I am happy to say that Tiki did not disappoint! The house is beautiful, the Tiki Hut really is huge and there is no false advertising! I had the most wonderful few days and only regretted that I couldn't stayed longer. The master suite leads straight out to the pool so you could wake up and see the glistening pool (always heated) and look out to the water beyond with the glorious pink and orange skies at sunrise. The Tiki hut was amazing, provided great shade and became another living room, with loads of place to read and relax and eat! Everything in the house is of very high quality, from the bedding and towels, to the kitchen appliances and TV's - you truly are able to relax in luxurious surroundings and kick back and enjoy the vacation. Publix supermarket and a great restaurant Bonefish Mac's are in walking distance. The icing on the cake was how gracious Mike and his sister Michelle were. Mike was always contactable and responsive and genuinely is proud of his home, you can tell its not 'all business' and he truly wants his guests to enjoy their stay. This makes such a difference from dealing with usual 'booking agents' or 'management companies' and enabled me to have a hassle-free stay. I actually thought about writing a bad review so the Tiki Hut doesn't get too booked up - as I will be back! :) Thanks for a great trip! " Karie NYC. The house was perfect for use. The pool is perfect size and depth for young children and parents. the size of the home is large enough for us to spread out. we ate all of our meals in. Great kitchen and grill. I would highly recommend this house; we are thinking of renting for next year. |

To Mike and Kai, thank you so much for the excellent customer service, while planning the trip and during our 2 week stay. What ever we needed, you provided it for us- before and during the trip, especially the new heater for the pool! You were right on top of that and very quick to solve the issue. Thank you both so much for all that you have done for both our families. It is with high regards that we recommend this property to everyone! It's close to the beach and all that you would need to make this stay - a perfect one! This property at the landings is so spacious, clean, 4 bedrooms, full kitchen, 3 full washrooms, and a washer and dryer! To top it off, we enjoyed our nights out side in the back with a beautiful patio; enjoying the wonderful scenery of the intercostals waterway, with delicious barbeque dinners and very comfortable, nightly swims in a large heated pool!!!! We had a great time and will be returning very soon! I know that there are other properties that you have too, with hopes of one day renting Santa Barbara, and without a doubt again, the landings is a "MUST TO RETURN TOO!" Jody BraatenElk River, MNHi Mike, The location and the condo were both FABULOUS! We had a great time checking out the restaurants, shopping, swimming, jet skiing, went on an alligator farm tour and air-boat ride, and Brad and I got married in the condo! I don't know how we packed everything in, but we really had a great time! The kids were amazed by the luxury cars in the parking areas; we rarely see one exotic car in Elk River, MN, let alone several. My daughter Sarah met a nice young navy man at Lulu's and they are now Facebook friends. Kai was especially accomodating by letting us stay until late in the evening on our last day, so that was pretty cool. All in all we had a great vacation and wedding day, and we will cherish the memories for a lifetime! Thank you so much for everything, and especially for making the financial end of things such an easy and safe process! The location was great and we totally enjoyed everything the house had to offer. We were able to walk to the beach, local restaurants and bars and even pick up some necessities at the local Walgreens, all without the need for a vehicle. The home was well designed and very spacious. It was really conducive to 6 women when we need to get ready to go our or get a little space to ourselves. Todd was great too. He was so accommodating and really looked after us while we were there. It was fabulous that he was able to get the AC upstairs working very quickly.Thanks again for sharing a great property. Marina Village is not only beautiful but in a great location, and has a view that seems to calm the wildest 4 yr old at sunrise, noon, and sunrise. I would recommend you guys to any one without any hesitation. |

Monique GarciaFort Lauderdale, FLIf you are looking for a place for a relaxing Florida vacation with all the luxuries of a home then this is the ideal place is a warm and inviting location. We rented the Tiki Hut for our family reunion. It was absolutely wonderful! We all had a great time. The younger members would go jogging in the safe and pleasant neighborhood every morning while our folks would have breakfast by the water in the shade of the Tiki Hut. We would go to the amazing and well-known Red Reef Beach (only 10 minutes away) where only 10 feet from the shoreline you would see some amazing reef and colorful schools of Floridian fish (snorkeling gear required). Upon reaching the home, nothing was more pleasurable than using the outdoor BBQ or the indoor state of the art (no joke) kitchen to prepare healthy family meals. The sub-zero fridge had plenty of space, the convection oven worked like a charm, there was plenty of marble counter space and the Bosch flat oventop was a treat. Whether we ate outdoors under the Tiki Hut shade or indoors looking out onto the pool-deck, we always had an amazing view. We would then take a walk around the neighborhood or play a game of billiard or poker or swim in the pool (or relax in the jacuzzi). Honestly, we were never out of activities! By night, during sports season, the large 72 inch plasma screen TV was the center of our entertainment. We didn't miss a second of action-packed events. It was the most amazing family reunion vacation we ever had in Florida. It was much better than staying at a resort or hotel where you don't nearly have the same amount of space, your own private pool, BBQ amenities or the Tiki Hut! This place feels far away from home, because you're in Florida, but has all the perks of your home (and much more). This place was ideal for us because it had plenty of activities available, it was in a safe neighborhood and was close to the famous Red Reef beach with amazing snorkeling adventures. I would recommend this vacation home to any family wanting to make memories for a lifetime. This place is welcoming, unpretentious and with a discerning detail to quality and comfort.
